Northamptonshire based business, Interduct UK, showing significant growth
Interduct UK Limited are leading experts in the cleaning, maintenance and management of kitchen ventilation and grease extract systems.
Their outstanding growth through the past few years has led them to achieve record turnover and as a result, they have been shortlisted as finalists in the Northamptonshire Business Awards 2016.
Interduct currently employs over 60 members with more than 50 operatives situated around the UK and Ireland. They have centrally located offices in Northamptonshire with satellite managed engineer locations in Oxfordshire, Essex, Leicestershire, Manchester, Glasgow and Belfast.
MARK POULTNEY, MANAGING DIRECTOR
Mark Poultney took over as Managing Director two years ago. He is confident that their unique riser cleaning method has been tried and tested to perform at the highest standard.
“The method and product has been modified over the past four years, to
ensure that the system now works extremely well. The team now clean in excess of 500 risers per year - this has led us to hold the title of the largest cleaner of kitchen grease extract risers in the UK.”
Over the past five years, the number of high profile restaurant fires has risen significantly, due to restaurant groups possibly not taking their responsibilities too seriously. This really enables Interduct to stand out from their competitors.
“We have grown on the back of not only our innovation in IT and reporting for our customers, but also, we have taken on a lot of work with nationwide customers, where previously they have had fires through non-compliance or where their previous contractors have not done their job properly.”
The Northamptonshire based business are extremely pleased that their hard work and innovation has led them to be selected as finalists in 3 categories in the Northamptonshire Business Awards 2016.
“We are a large local employer, even though we work on a nationwide basis. We’re very pleased to be recognised by the local community in that respect, especially because the community here in Northamptonshire is quite a close knit one.”
Future plans for Interduct include their expansion to work with landlords, enabling them to stay compliant. Currently liaising with some of the largest landlords in the country, they are looking to carry out duct and riser cleaning for their large sites that they’re building and managing throughout the UK and central London.
